After selling ALL MY DAIRY cows, I took a personal day for the first time in a long time.
I DROVE TO LEAVENWORTH BY MYSELF, GRABBED MY CAMERA, AND SET OFF TO HIKE PART OF THE ENCHANTMENTS. THE LARCHES WERE GOLDEN, THE MAPLES SHOWING OFF THEIR AUTUMN COLORS, AND THE TRAILS WINDING AND STEEP.
AS THE TRAIL TURNED, IT OPENED UP TO AN AQUA BLUE LAKE IN THE SHADOW OF A GLACIER. NATURALLY, I FOUND THE BEST WAY TO SHOW OFF THIS MAJESTIC SCENE WAS TO INCLUDE MYSELF AT THE CENTER OF IT. AFTERALL, THIS WAS MY DAY AND NO GOLDEN CLAD, SNOW CAPPED MOUNTAIN WAS GOING TO TAKE THAT AWAY FROM ME.
IN TRUTH, I INCLUDED MYSELF IN this picture so that future me has evidence that I was there and that I took a moment for myself.
