One of my favorite places to run is Millersylvania State Park. I've always wanted to capture the beauty of that park during a foggy morning. While driving to the farm this morning, I noticed the fog was thick. I looked for my camera bag and saw that I only had my camera with a 40mm Anamorphic lens. With nothing to lose, I grabbed my unconventional kit and set up a shot of the foggy running trail. I tried several compositions in landscape, but nothing worked w/ the anamorphic. Then, I decided to try something different. I composed the shot vertically. When I did, I noticed that I liked the 1.33x squeeze did to the trees. So, I went with it. I'm glad I did.
