A day before we met our daughter in Seattle to kick off our Christmas vacation, I received a positive Covid-19 test result. Then, my partner and kids got Covid. Needless to say, we canceled Christmas. For EVERYONE. Not really though. Instead of getting down that all our plans changed, we embraced it. We took time to focus on the family, not the hustle and bustle of the Holiday season. What a present!
One of those moments was going to the “Point House” to visit my dad (also recovering from Covid) on Christmas day. That day it started to snow. So, I grabbed my camera and ran out to the point with the fam. It was so beautiful.
