Though we are in the mire of darkness, there is a light that shines through the darkness. A new day is coming.
THE PANDEMIC OF COVID-19 HAS BROUGHT A FOG OVER THE WORLD. WITH EVERYONE ON LOCKDOWN, I Feel FORTUNATE TO BE ABLE TO WALK MY FIELDS AS IF NOTHING HAs CHANGED...EXCEPT IT HAS. EASTER IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER, BUT THERE WILL NOT BE COMMUNITIES CELEBRATING TOGETHER. INSTEAD, THE WORLD WILL BE IN ISOLATION.
As I stood there waiting to capture the majestic Mt. Rainier, I got more and more enamored with the way the Sun pierced through the dark fog that was hiding the mountain. So, I captured the moment not caring if the mountain would ever show its face. I think this picture is better than the one I set out to capture. TO ME IT REPRESENTS THE POWER OF THE SUN AND THAT INEVITABLY IT WILL BURN THROUGH THE FOG. LIKE LIGHT, FILLING THE DARKNESS, WE ARE TO HAVE HOPE THAT things WILL CHANGE for the better.
